Swedish Engineering Excellence
Cleaning robots engineered in Västerås, trusted across Europe
Engineering Autonomous Cleaning Systems Since 2023
Founded in 2023 in Västerås, Sweden, Aros Robotics AB develops and manufactures autonomous cleaning robots for commercial and industrial facilities. The company was established by robotics engineers from Sweden's industrial automation sector to address growing labor shortages and rising operational costs in commercial cleaning.
Västerås, historically known as "Aros", has been a center of Swedish industrial innovation for over 400 years, from power generation to advanced manufacturing. This engineering heritage shapes our approach: rigorous testing, quality-first manufacturing and systems designed for long-term operational reliability.
Today, Aros Robotics operates 280+ deployed robots across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. Our robots clean over 2.5 million square meters of facility space daily, from airport terminals and logistics warehouses to corporate offices and healthcare facilities.
We employ 64 people across engineering, manufacturing operations, field service and customer support. Our team includes robotics Ph.D.s from Chalmers University and KTH, experienced manufacturing engineers from Swedish industrial firms and field service technicians trained in autonomous systems deployment.
