Aros Clean Max Fleet Expansion at Nordic Airport Facilities
Three major airports deploy additional Aros Clean Max units following successful pilot programs.
Aros Robotics AB announced expanded deployments of its Aros Clean Max autonomous cleaning robot at three major Nordic airports, following successful 12-month pilot programs that demonstrated significant operational improvements.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Copenhagen Airport and Oslo Gardermoen Airport have collectively ordered 18 additional Aros Clean Max units to expand coverage across terminal facilities, cargo areas and support buildings. The deployments will increase total autonomous cleaning coverage to over 120,000 square meters across the three facilities.
"Airport environments present unique challenges for autonomous cleaning: 24/7 operations, high passenger traffic, strict safety requirements and varied surface types," said Sara Lundqvist, VP of Sales & Customer Success at Aros Robotics AB. "Our Clean Max platform has proven it can handle these demands while delivering consistent cleaning quality and operational cost reductions."
Performance data from the pilot programs showed: - 62% reduction in nighttime cleaning labor costs - 99.2% uptime across the fleet - Zero safety incidents involving passengers or staff - Improved cleanliness scores in passenger satisfaction surveys
The expanded deployments will be completed by December 2025, with all units integrated into existing facility management systems and scheduled around flight operations. Aros field service teams will provide on-site commissioning, operator training and ongoing technical support.
“The Aros Clean Max units have become an integral part of our facility operations. The reliability and autonomous coverage allow our staff to focus on high-priority areas and passenger services.”
