Aros Robotics Secures SEK 180M Series B to Accelerate European Expansion
Funding will support production scaling, European market expansion and R&D for next-generation cleaning systems.
Aros Robotics AB announced today the completion of a SEK 180 million (approximately €16 million) Series B funding round led by Nordic Cleantech Ventures, with participation from existing investors Industrifonden and Chalmers Ventures and new investor InfraVia Growth.
The funding will support: - Production capacity expansion to meet growing European demand - Market expansion across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France - R&D investment in advanced sensor systems and cleaning technologies - Expansion of field service and customer support teams
"This funding reflects strong investor confidence in autonomous cleaning technology and Aros's position as a European leader in this market," said Dr. Magnus Eriksson, CEO of Aros Robotics AB. "We're seeing accelerating demand from facility managers and building service contractors who recognize that autonomous cleaning is no longer experimental—it's a proven operational solution."
Since its Series A round in 2023, Aros has: - Grown its deployed robot fleet from 45 to over 280 units - Expanded from Swedish market to five European countries - Achieved profitability on robot hardware sales - Maintained 98% customer renewal rates for service contracts
The company currently employs 64 people across engineering, operations, sales and field service roles, with plans to reach 100 employees by end of 2026.
"Facility management faces a perfect storm of labor shortages, rising costs and increasing hygiene expectations," said Maria Lindström, Partner at Nordic Cleantech Ventures. "Aros has demonstrated both technical excellence and commercial execution. We're excited to support their next phase of growth."
